FAQ

About the Artwork

What types of artwork do you create?
I specialize in custom watercolor pet portraits and unique watercolor prints of Petoskey stones. Each piece is crafted with care to celebrate the beauty of pets and nature.

What are Petoskey stone prints?
Petoskey stones are fossilized coral unique to Michigan, and my watercolor prints highlight their intricate patterns. These prints make beautiful gifts or unique keepsakes.

Custom Pet Portraits

How do I order a custom pet portrait?
Simply visit the shop and choose your preferred size! After placing your order, you’ll complete an intake form to provide details about your pet and upload photos. Feel free to include any special requests—we’ll take care of the rest!

How long does it take to complete a custom portrait?
Custom portraits usually take 7–14 days, depending on the complexity and current demand. We’ll keep you updated every step of the way.

Can I request changes to my custom portrait?
Please share all special requests when filling out the intake form. Once work begins, changes may not be possible, so be as detailed as you’d like upfront!

Do you offer refunds or returns?
Due to the custom nature of pet portraits, we cannot offer refunds or accept returns. However, if you’re unhappy with your piece, please contact us to discuss your concerns—we want you to love your artwork!

Prints & Originals

What print options are available?
All prints are Giclée reproductions, created with fine Canon inks and printed on high-quality Hahnemühle fine art paper. These prints are designed to look as vivid and detailed as the originals, with a small white border for easy matting.

Can I request a larger print size?
Some prints can be made larger, depending on the quality and detail of the original artwork. For inquiries, email us, and we’ll work with you to find the best solution for your space!

Do you offer framing or matting?
Enjoy 20% off framing for all T Ann Marie Art portraits and prints at The Northville Gallery! Discover their exceptional custom framing services and get the perfect finishing touch for your artwork. Visit Northville Gallery’s website for more details and contact information.

How should I care for my prints?
Always handle prints with care. Avoid using tape on the front, as it may pull pigment from the paper. Framing your prints helps protect them from wear and dust.

Shipping & Pick-Up

Do you ship internationally?
Yes, I ship worldwide! Shipping to the lower 48 United States is free, and international shipping costs are calculated at checkout.

How are the prints and originals packaged?
Prints are shipped flat in acid-free sleeves and secured between sturdy cardboard to prevent damage. Originals are matted and carefully packaged with acid-free materials for added stability.

Can I pick up my artwork?
Yes, local pick-up is available in Petoskey, Michigan. Choose the "Local Pick-Up" option at checkout, and I’ll notify you when your artwork is ready.

Ownership & Usage Rights

Who owns the rights to the artwork?
I retain all rights to my artwork, including sold and commissioned pieces. This means I can create reproductions unless you purchase full or partial rights. Buyers may not reproduce the artwork without written permission.

If you’re interested in purchasing the rights to your artwork, please contact me to discuss options.
